Language points
1.When is your birthday,Linda？你的生日是什么时候，琳达？
when是疑问副词，意为“什么时候”，引导特殊疑问句，其结构为：“When+一般疑问句？”，回答时可用介词in,on,at等引导的表示时间的介词短语。
—When is Jay Chou's birthday?
—His birthday is on January 18th.
2.My birthday is on May 2nd.我的生日是五月二日。
On May 2nd中的介词on可以省略，May 2nd意为“五月二日”，在表示日期时，要注意以下几点：在美式英语中，记载方法是按月、日、年的顺序，“日”与“年”中间要用逗号隔开，书写时“日”可以写成序数词形式，也可直接写成阿拉伯数字形式，但读时一定读作序数词。
April 10th,1997=4/10/1997 即1997年4月10日。
在英式英语中，记载方法是按日、月、年的顺序，其他同上面所讲相同。
10th April,1997=10/4/1997 即1997年4月10日。
