1.It must be large enough to hold the roots of the seeding. 它必须足够大以容纳的种子根。
must是情态动词，意为“必须；肯定”。用在肯定句中表示较有把握的推测。对现在的状态或现在正发生的事情的推测时，must后面通常接系动词be 的原形或行为动词的进行式。如：
You have worked hard all day. You must be tired. 你辛苦干一整天，一定累了。
2. Now, put the seedling inside, cover the roots and fill the hole with dirt. 现在，把幼苗放进来，盖上根，用泥土填上坑。
fill作动词，常用动词词组fill… with…意为“用……把……装满”，被动形式： be filled with意为“装/填满”，相当于be full of，full是形容词，意为“装满；充满”。如：
He filled his backpack with books. 他把书装进书包。
3. I suppose tree planting is very important work. 我想，植树造林是非常重要的工作 。
suppose是及物动词，常用来表示说话人的看法、猜测或假设。其基本用法如下：
(1)“suppose＋名词/代词＋介词短语”表示“猜测某人/某物在……”。如：
He supposed his friend in the library. 他猜想他的朋友在图书馆里。
(2) be supposed to中的to是动词不定式符号，后接动词原形，主语为人时，表示“应该；被期望”，它可以用来表示劝告、建议、义务、责任等。主语为物时，它表示“本应；本该”，用于表示某事本应该发生而没有发生。它还可以用来表示“被认为是；被相信是”。如：
