知识点1
What does he/she look like?他/她长什么样?
这是用来询问某人或某物外貌特征的常用句型。其结构为“What do/does+sb./sth.+look like?”,其中look是连系动词,like是介词。
其回答方式有两种:
(1)主语+be动词/look(s)+形容词.
(2)主语+have/has+名词(名词前可能有两个形容词来修饰).
eg:—What does Tony look like?
托尼长什么样?
—He is tall and thin.他又高又瘦。
—What does Anne look like?
— _________.(黑龙江齐齐哈尔)

【点拨】本题采用交际法。What does sb. look like?意为“某人长什么样?”,是对外貌的提问,故选B。
“What be+sb./sth.+like?”可用来询问某人的性格或某物的特征。
eg:—What is your sister like?
你妹妹是什么样的人?
—She is very shy.她很害羞。
知识点2
He looks cool!他看上去很酷!
考查look的用法,作连系动词时,意为“看上去”,后面加形容词,构成系表结构。
eg:He looks very happy today.
今天他看上去很高兴。
类似于look这样的词还有feel(摸起来),smell(闻起来),sound(听起来),taste(尝起来),后面也加形容词,构成系表结构。
eg:The food smells good.这食物闻起来很香。
The song sounds beautiful.
这首歌听起来很好听。
