一、形容词和副词的比较级和最高级
1.Mine flew farther than Jenny's airplane, but Brian's flew the farthest.我的纸飞机飞得比詹妮的远，但是布莱恩的飞得最远。

英语中大多数形容词和副词是可以分级的，一般有三个等级：________、________和________。
1．原级
(1)“as＋形容词/副词原级＋as”表示“前者和后者一样……”。 例如：
John is as tall as his brother.
约翰和他哥哥一样高。
(2)“not as/so＋形容词/副词原级＋as”用在否定句中，表示“前者不如后者……”。例如：
I can't run as/so fast as you.我不如你跑得快。
(3)“倍数＋as＋形容词/副词原级＋as”表示“前者是后者的几倍”。例如：
This room is twice as big as that one.
这个房间是那个房间的两倍大。
2．比较级(两者)
(1)“A＋be＋形容词的比较级＋than＋B.”表示“A比B更……”。例如： Jack is taller than Tom, but Tom is heavier than Jack.
杰克比汤姆高，但是汤姆比杰克重。
(2)“the＋比较级＋of the two”表示“两者中较/更……的一个”，定冠词the ________ (可以/不可以)省略。例如：
He is the stronger of the two boys.
他是两个男孩中较强壮的那个。
(3)“比较级＋and＋比较级” 表示“越来越……”。例如：
Our city is becoming more and more beautiful.
我们的城市正变得越来越美丽。
(4)“The＋比较级…， the＋比较级…”表示“越……，越……”。例如：
The more, the better.多多益善。
(5)比较级的修饰词： a little, a lot, much, far, even等。
(6)表示“A比B大多少”用“A＋be＋数词＋名词/倍数＋比较级＋than B．”。例如： My father is four years older than my uncle.
我父亲比我叔叔大4岁。
Asia is three times larger than Europe.
亚洲比欧洲大3倍。
(7)在两者之间选择“哪一个更……”时，用句型 “Which/Who is＋比较级， …or…？”例如：
Which sweater is cheaper, the red one or the yellow one?
哪一件毛衣比较便宜，是红色的还是黄色的？
