我们可以发现动词不定式的另外两种语法功能：
①在“动词+宾语+动词不定式”的结构中充当宾语的补足语
②在句中表示行为动作的目的，作目的状语

动词不定式
1.动词不定式作宾语补足语
可用于“动词+宾语+动词不定式”这一结构的动词有很多，除本模块出现的allow，choose等词外，常见的还有：want, tell, ask, invite, help等。
She asked him to come to the party.
She wants me to go with her.
需要注意的是：
1）以上动词接不定式作宾语补足语时，若要表达否定的意思，要在to do前加not, 构成not to do的形式。例如：
Mr Han told us not to make too much noise.
韩先生告诉我们不要弄出太大声音。
Jackie told me not to touch anything!
杰基告诉我不要碰任何东西。
2）有些动词后接动词作宾语补足语时，可以接不带to的不定式，常见的这类动词有：help, make, let, have, hear, feel, see等。例如：
I’ll have Tony show you around the school.
我会让托尼带你参观校园。
His words made everyone laugh.
他的话让大家哄堂大笑。
2. 动词不定式作目的壮语
如果表示“做某事是为了什么”，可以用动词不定式表示目的。例如：
We don’t want to lose tigers, elephants or any other animals, so the WWF is working hard to save them all.
在这种情况下，不定式既可以放在句首，也可以放在句尾。
Dylan trained hard to improve his basketball skills.
迪伦刻苦训练以提高自己的篮球技能。
也可以说：
To improve his basketball skills, Dylan trained hard.
根据表达需要，动词不定式还可以作原因壮语和结果状语。
