复合名词的复数:

1.sixteen –year-olds  十六岁的孩子们

这类用连字符连接的合成名词变复数时,通常把最后一个词变复数。例如: grown-up → grown-ups。成年人

被动语态

被动语态的构成:    主语 + be + 动词的.过去分词

常见的几种时态的被动语态的句型。

一般现在时:主语 + be ( am / is / are ) +动词的 过去分词 + ------.

一般过去时:主语 + was / were + 动词的过去分词 + ------.

一般将来时:主语 + will / shall + be +动词的 过去分词 + ------.

含情态动词时其构成:主语+情态动词 + be + 动词的.过去分词.

巩固训练: 把下列句子翻译成英语。

1. 我认为应该允许16岁的孩子选择他们自己的衣服。___________________

2 .我认为不应该允许16岁的孩子穿耳孔。____________________

3. 应该允许16岁的孩子开车吗?_______________________

4. 十六岁的孩子不应该被允许有兼职工作。_________________
